Hello Lefkadians!
The weather is becoming warmer and warmer and we have prepared some great event to make the most of the first week of March. Our Time Bank events for this week are:
On Monday at 7 pm: Elevator pitch by our volunteer Helena! Learn how to introduce yourself to other people and leave a lasting impression 
On Wednesday at 6 to 8 pm: “Hear with your eyes, speak with your hands”! It’s a sensibility workshop about deafness and signs language. This training will give you tools to communicate more easily with the deaf and hearing impaired… come on!😊
On Thursday at 9 pm: our famous Movie Night will feature a French movie “La famille Bélier” (the Belier’family). It is a comedy (2014) which addresses the issue of deafness through the point of view of a young adolescent born in a deaf family, who has a gift for music and singing … funny and touching, this Film has been a real success with the “frenchies”!
